Therapy/Counseling Services
Calming Journeys Counseling offers adult, child/adolescent, and couples counseling. During adult counseling, clients meet one-on-one on a regular basis with a mental health professional to explore life’s patterns and recognize areas in need. Common areas of concern are emotional well-being, decreasing and managing stress, relationship issues, and making positive, appropriate behavioral changes.
Children or Adolescents also meet one-on-one on a regular basis with a mental health professional to explore their feelings, behaviors, coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and relationships at an age appropriate level. We encourage parental involvement as Parents/Guardians play a vital role in the successful outcome of their child’s counseling.
Couples meet jointly and at times individually with their therapist to identify areas of problems within their relationship and steps the couple can take together and individually to reach their common relationship goals.
